Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature has helped reduce my pain, reduce my fear, and relieve my stress, increasing my feeling of inner peace and happiness.
Bonding with my horse helps me develop self-awareness and helps with my emotional healing.
Helping in my community is an opportunity for me to grow as a person, to better understand how I fit into the world around me.
I've been playing the piano since I was 6 yrs old. Learning to play an instrument requires all your concentration, which naturally creates a state of mindfulness and gives you a sense of calm. That calming sensation helps shift negative thoughts and energy into something more positive, in turn alleviating stress.
